Requirements Needed for Set Up:
- Campaign Name
- Start & End Date
- Description of the campaign: 92 characters max
- Logo or Image: 300 px square image, 10 mb max
- Primary Contact for the cause:
- First and last name
- Email or phone number
- Donation Options (choose one option below):
- Flat Rate: pick 3 dollar amount options to display
- Round Up: rounding to the nearest dollar
Compatible Devices:
Toast fundraiser can only be used on the below devices
- Toast Handhelds
- Toast POS with Guest Facing Display (GFD)
- Toast Kiosk
- OLO
Note: QSRs all have POS w/GFD. Most full-service locations have a POS w/ GFD at the host stand in addition to Toast handhelds.
Submitting Fundraising Requests
Please submit the required questions above to IT at least 10 business days before the launch to ensure setup is completed on time. Tickets should be submitted through Zendesk: [Link here].
After submitting to IT, please email the following people in finance/accounting: Lillian Hu, Amy Ozule, and Kelsey Meyer, and include the following information:
- Which brands/units are participating in the fundraiser
- What is the plan for paying the charitable company
Accessing Fundraiser Revenue Data
You can view fundraiser data from Toast + OLO all through the Toast dashboard.
For Toast:
- Navigate to the brand you wish to view by selection one location within that brand in the location picker drop down.
- In the search bar, type in Fundraising Breakdown.
- From the Fundraiser page, you can select the date range and locations you wish to view.
For OLO:
- Navigate to the brand you wish to view by selection one location within that brand in the location picker drop down.
- In the search bar, type in Sales Summary.
- From the Sales page, you can select the date range and locations you wish to view.
- Fundraisers through OLO will show up under the Service Charge Summary under OLO Round Up.
