1. Log in to Dashboard.
2. Click on “Catering” in the left navigation bar to expand the available selections.
3. Select Tax Exemption.
Please note that it is possible to see no existing tax exempt accounts yet in which case you can create a tax exempt account by clicking "+ Add Tax Exempt Account".
After creating the Tax Exempt Account, it will be added to a list with a status. Statuses include:

Active: The tax exempt account is active and can be used with orders on Switchboard.

Deactivated: The tax exempt account has been deactivated and cannot be used with orders.

Not Order Ready: The tax exempt account is active but does not have at least one authorized guest attached to the account so it can not be used with orders.

Expiring Soon: If the tax exempt account has an expiration date associated with it, and the expiration date is within the next 30 days

Expired: If the tax exempt account has an expiration date associated with it, and the expiration date is in the past, then the tax exempt account cannot be used with orders on Switchboard

Expiration: If the tax exempt account has an expiration date associated with it, the date will be displayed in this column. No date will be displayed as "N/A"
